SOBA

In 2007, I had the pleasure of crossing paths with Soba at Atoll Television. I believe he joined as a draftsman, and from the very beginning, it was evident that he was an incredibly gifted individual brimming with boundless energy and a perpetual smile. What truly captivated me, though, was his knack for wordplay.

It's remarkable how sometimes we only fully appreciate someone's immense talent after they've moved on, and that was the case with Soba. Among the local graffiti artists, he stood out like a shining star, and please know that I mean no disrespect to the other talented artists out there.

Soba's messages and fearless approach were nothing short of mesmerizing. Watching him express his vision with a spray can, fearlessly conquering anything in his path, felt like witnessing a comet landing on a distant planet.
